Military Medical Careers

Duties and Responsibilities: Physician Assistant from the air force is one of the military medical careers. Provides primary or specialty medical care with the cognizance or supervision of a physician. Provides services by collecting data required for diagnosis and performing procedures and services as authorized by AFI 44-102, Community Heath Management and as approved by the Credentials Review Committee.

Salary: $93,105

Education: For entry into this specialty, graduation from a Physician’s Assistant Training Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education programs (CAAHEP) and acceptable to the Surgeon General, USAF, is mandatory.
