Duties and Responsibilities:  Acupuncturists use needles and electrical currents to treat a variety of symptoms and disorders. Some acupuncturists also provide massage and preventative treatments.

Salary: $81,000

Education: The required licensing requirements vary from state to state. Most states require a degree from an accredited acupuncture college followed by a Board Certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

I wouldn’t like to be one because I’m scared of needles so I doubt I’ll be able to work with needles and inject other people.
