Reflection: Attitude can be good or bad. It usually depends on what you’re doing or who you’re with to define what type of attitude you have. Never misunderstand someone’s personality with their attitude because you’re personality defines who you’re and attitude depends who you are talking to.

Attitude

Attitude defines ones behavior. You can either have a good attitude or bad attitude.

Some words that are similar to attitude are:

·       Temper

·       Opinion

·       Belief

·       Perspective

·       Mood

·       Point of view

Some examples of good attitude is if you see someone struggling in math class and they don’t know how to do a certain math problem you reach out to them and help them so they can understand how to solve them. You’re bringing a good vibe because you’re making things easier for person and you’re being kind.

An example of a bad attitude is if your teacher tells you to put your phone away because you were using it in class and you start talking back at them that is considered rude. 

Periodontist

Duties and Responsibilities: Dentists diagnose and treat injured and decaying teeth, gums and supporting bones, though they may refer more complex cases to specialists, such as periodontists. They remove teeth, clean teeth, manage routine checkups and provide oral health education to their patients.

Salary: $110,020

Education: Both dentists and periodontists must complete dental school after earning their undergraduate degrees. Dental school is a four-year program that includes both coursework and clinical experience.

I wouldn’t mind having this as a job because it pays good.

Reflection: Always make sure that who you hang around with gives you a positive effect in your life because if not you can suffer many consequences with the people that choose the wrong. An example is when you meet new people make sure they are nice and don’t choose the wrong.

Dental Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: A candidate for certification must successfully complete three examinations, taken in any order, within a four-year period: a written comprehensive, a specialty practical, and a specialty written.

Salary: $36,000

Education: You would need to be taking training classes to learn the things they would need to do.

It doesn’t seem like a bad job I would probably have this as a backup.

Reflection: Example: You can’t make people do your shift at work because it’s YOUR shift not theirs. It’s important for someone to learn do stuff on their own because you’re not always going to have someone to help you. You won’t learn from anything because you aren’t doing anything. You have to learn not to depend on people because  you won’t always have them by your side.

Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Surgeon

Duties and Responsibilities: They are responsible for diagnosing and treating a number of conditions that originate in the head and neck including upper respiratory infections, balance and hearing problems, and thyroid problems.

Education: Ear, nose and throat doctors, often called ENTs, need a medical degree and a license to practice in their state.

I wouldn’t like to have this as a job because I don’t think I would be able to give surgery to another person.

Reflection: It’s important to keep promises that you’ve made. Like Abraham Lincoln promised his sick mother as a child that he would never drink whiskey or smoke tobacco as long as he lives. Then she passed away. He went on a trip with a man and he would ask him if he would drink with him and smoke. But Abraham said no and kept his promise. I think the thing that kept him strong enough to do that was the thought of his mother. It relates to me because if I ever make a promise I should keep it.

Clinical Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

This is a clinical management position responsible for the direction of clinical activities at Healthcare Network medical sites. The Clinical Nurse Manager provides leadership and nursing services to patients in a community/rural health setting, and works with the health care team to coordinate with the medical providers to provide health care services.

Salary: $76,000

Education: Clinical managers typically need at least a bachelor degree in medical services administration, healthcare administration, or other related field.

Reflection: It’s important to be kind because it is a good thing to do in life. It’s something that people can see how you are and not judge you. When your kind it will slowly end up rewarding you.

Speech, language, and swallowing disorders result from a variety of causes, such as a stroke, brain injury, hearing loss, developmental delay, a cleft palate, cerebral palsy, or emotional problems.

Education: Speech-language pathologists typically need at least a master’s degree. They must be licensed in most states; requirements vary by state.

Reflection: It’s important for a person to know their manners because without manners people might think you don’t have respect. That’s why it’s good to teach children young what’s the right thing to say when people are being respectful or kind. An example is like if someone opens the door for you, you will kindly reply with “Thank you.”

Duties and Responsibilities: They are responsible for the assignments within the department. Positions in this job don’t typically supervise.
